WOW! What a beauty. Does it have the L-head six cylinder 190 cubic inch engine? That engine was produced from 1932 until 1959 when the Slant-Six was introduced. It was also used for industrial applications as it was almost indestructable. In the 50's a woman would come into the Texaco gas station where I worked and have her 1953 Desoto serviced. It had a fluid clutch so it could be started from a full stop up to full speed in any gear. It had the smoothest ride of any car I have ever been in. Does it have the smell of Mohair from the seats?
