Yep, those old Mopars were good cars. My old Aunt had a '37 4 door, kept it until way after WW II! I used it when i came home from army life, on furlough! She saved her gas ration stamps for me! A friend heard i did auto body work, and he had smashed the right rear fender, on his 1947 Plymouth, bad enough to need replacing. I said i could do the whole job in one evening, so i got the job! I stopped at the local auto wreckers and bought a nice rear fender, took it home, painted it, and when it was ready, i stopped at his place of business, took his car home, installed the used fender, and had it back to him next day! Let me say--that piece of trickery made my reputation in my home town!
