Dale, I had the same concerns about adequate flow/pressure when we ran water from our house to the barn, which is about 270 feet. After calculating friction loss, we opted for 1-1/4" heavy wall (160 psi rated) coiled well plastic, with all brass insert fittings and Ideal stainless clamps. It works great with no noticeable pressure loss. You can get 160 psi well plastic in 300 foot coils at any good plumbing supply house. Be sure to use brass fittings on any part that is buried and double clamp each insert connection. This should give you all the water you will need at a small fraction of the cost of copper.
