One thing ya got to remember is that MOST of the tractor ride are out west and they are not as YUPPYFIED as we are here in Ohio and more open spaces lot less trafic . Running a tractor on the roads here in Ohio is gettig more dangerious everyday as like up here we have to run between farms on a state highway and one side road and in the last ten-fifteen years people are more impatient . they will pass ya when you are signaling a left turn on a hill on a double yellow line . Turning into eugene's lane is a nightmare or pulling out of vernon's . Back when i use to pull the girl scouts in the one perade we use to drive the tractors and floats in to town the 6.5 miles and ya could not run road gears as things would start flyen off the floats now this is with warning flashers SMV signs and people would darn near run into the back of ya with tire squealen or whp around ya and cut ya off or pass ya and get infront of ya and slam the brakes on just to tick ya off. Now for some food for thought here i would go talk to the local sherrif for his insight along with the State patrol talk over the planned route and see if they could get and off duty officer to run escort even donate a few bucks to them as always safty first and never go faster the the slowest tractor can run . Good luck with this as it has not been done to my knolage here in OHIO.

Amana Colonies served as a respite where we ate a family style lunch that sustained us with more food than could reasonably fit into our ample physiques. The show at Ankeny
