Are you talking about the bikes which were sold in the late sixties, very early seventies? A friend has a mint one, which he bought new and rode only a few times. Really a "crowbar" of a bike. Heavy frame, and only fair-at-best components. But in another 50 or a 100 years, maybe everyone will want one. However if my memory serves me correctly, I believe that JD made a bike in the late 1800's or in the early 1900's. I assume it had wood rims. One of these would be a great collectable.
