All you are getting is cubic inches. These engines have no power as built. The older ones built in the late '60s (429/460) had good iron in them,also some had 4 bolt main caps,some forged cranks and rods.They also had high compression and some pretty good heads. All you are getting here is a block with 460 cubic inches.You will have to buy your horsepower cause as it stands now it is nothing but dead weight and has nothing to offer you for pulling.You will be very dissapointed.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
