I have a smaller one, an M4700, which is the smallest of the M series. It is 47 gross engine HP and 42 pto HP. I bought it originally for small chores, but it has been known to run my Vicon 8' disc mower, which is supposed to have about 50 hp on it, it has pulled my Hesston 5500 baler which calls for 50-60 hp. We move bales on the three point and the loader, and have handled bales up to around 2,000lbs with ease. This tractor has really amazed my wife and I with what it'll do for it's size. We have had it for about 5 years now and we haven't done one thing to it other than change the oil and filters. It starts at zero degrees or below to feed without a block heater, doesn't smoke, doesn't sputter, just fires right up and does the job. I am hoping to buy another Kubota in the next few years to take the place of my old big tractor. I'll probably get an M7040 or an M8540 with a cab. Long story short, I'd recomend them to anybody.

P.S. we ran all JD's up until this Kubota, won't go back either.
