I just got done doing that to my TO-20. Mine was oval shaped a quarter of an inch. I welded the hole back at the top side of the cradle to a little smaller than round and very carfully ground it back to round with a small air die grinder using a 1/2 carbide burr. If it doesn't come out exactly like you want it, you can always weld it in again and work it down again. I used a lot of trial fitting to get the end result. It took me about an hour. Besides, what have you got to lose? I also made a new pin bacause the original was a little too short. But, instead of putting a crank hole in it, I left it solid and drilled it for a grease hole to the bushing. Irv
