I used to drive for a company that drove folks to the airport 100 miles away , we had E150 hitop vans with 302's and belive it or not we would get at least 5-650000 miles out of a engine with the poorest of maintance but trannys we would go thru about 3 . And then throw in another motor and run them another 400000 or so miles them sell them off
