Yeah, mid October is usually when we have our Indian summer in the northwest, too- unless it decides to just rain right on through. We ususally have pretty dry summers, but this year drier than most- we have only had about an inch of rain since June 22, and most of that in the last week. Pastures are pretty burnt up, but lots of good hay put up. Rain pretty much quits in late June, then starts up again sometime in September.
