Allan I hear you about not complaining about rain. We got 2.6 inches last week and that was the first major rain this summer. Two things to show how dry it was. First, the grass went dormant early due to lack of moisture and I saw weeds start comimng up in my folk's yard. Before the rain, the weeds were showing signs of stress and curling up their leaves and turning brown. Second is the sisal twine on bales. I'm hauling hay now that was made in mid July. The sisal twine on the bottom hasn't rotted through yet. Alfala on some ridges in that field regrew only two inches high. You can see every individual plant and the rows they were planted in. John
