Seeing a hen nesting under an old hay rake and finding the first two chicks last night. Eating bacon that came from hogs we raised. A good running, sharp chainsaw. Teaching my boys to split wood and they like it. Making an apple pie from our our fruit. There are days that I move 90 mph and curse any bit of trouble as I feel overwhelmed by the amount of work to do and underwhelmed by how much actually got done. Today I am just going to let it soak in. Thanks to all of you for the inspiration as you share your projects and pleasures of farming. Grub
