Yes it will handle a 5x6 bale,,they will mount on just bout any thing out there I have seen them on old truck chasis and even cars,,they will make manual steering a little rough,as long as the tractor is moving it aint too bad,,,billy

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
