On another site we're trying to identify a Wauk L-hd 6 in what's California titled as a 32 Available with a 1940 Wauk engine. On the engine are stamped or embossed (all in one string) 60 BM F-680258 plus some so far obscured numbers. I dont find any Wauk with a "60" designation; there's a 6Q at around the right time, and a 6BM that may or may not be a later engine. We would appreciate any advice as to how and/or where Wauk showed their engine ID on their engines about this time, and how to decipher their code. Pix are on aths.org; search 32 Available and recent posts will come up.The pix are in the second set of posts, concerning the truck in a Calif museum. Sorry, I don't know how to transfer the appropriate pix to this message. My apologies if this is covered in the archives; nothing useful came up under Wauk ID, and just Wauk pulls up 3737 entries, a little daunting to wade through. Many thxx for any help/advice/leads with this.
