I bought my wife a 20 horse Deere like that one last October- like most of you, I was sure leery, because they're so SMALL- but as she reminded me, "big, we got- I want something that will start every time and that I can maneuver around to clean horse stalls." Its turned out to be about the handiest thing I've ever had around the place (partly because the missus doesn't hesitate to use it). 4WD plus differential lock makes it pull like twice its size, its got enough snort to do about anything you need to do around the barnyard, including digging and loading dirt. Will almost do a 360 in its own footprint. Got it on sale, new, for $11,600. Would recommend it to anyone, without reservation, as a chore tractor- and this from a guy who has been running "our" type of tractors for 40 years. Don't sell 'em short.
