Jon, Have you tried to pull start it yet? Sometimes it is a bugger to get 'em going after changing filters. When they "slow down", it usually means that they are running out of fuel like you suspected. If they "speed up", usually means that there is air getting in the system. Like someone else said, don't forget your air filter, it also can stop 'em cold. I'd check for: 1. Fuel or air restriction 2. Injection pump has gone south 3. Compression is low; engine needs overhauled Allan
