I guess I got to weigh in on the side of the Fords. They aren't perfect but having that 3 point hitch just makes them so much more versatile than a straight drawbar tractor. I started with an 2N Ford then an 8N then went to the thousand series. If I was to do it over again I would skip the Ns altogether and get a NAA/Jubilee or or 600 Ford. They'll cost about $1000 more than an N but you will never look back
