Grey Models ?

A while back I posted a message about 'grey' model Kubotas, and was instructed about the numeral 1 in the model numbers. But I am still in the dark here. I finally understand it doesn't have anything to do with their actual color, however! Does 'grey model' pertain to all non-domestic tractors that parts cannot be obtained for? How about newer oriental manufactured brand name tractors? Are now, or will any of them become 'grey models' in the future? Tom S.
