Being here in Lancaster County, it has dominated the local TV and radio news and just about fills the morning paper. I've read through the police & family statements and the reporters speculations and haven't seen one thing yet that can explain it. How sick do you have to be to line up little girls and shoot them? Supposedly they think it is over some slight or insult to him that occured 20 years ago when he was 12. It seems like it was directed at the girls. Not because they were Amish, but because they were handy and the school was small and easy to take over by one man. Not much of a reason to kill little girls is it? Sad and sick. I wish he would have just commited suicide and let the kids alone. Obviously he was insane, but that's not much consolation for the families.
