I have two ATVs that I ride quite often. My friends and I respect landowners and their property, if we destroy it we can't ride anymore. Last week we were messing around on a level B road when an older guy stopped, got our liscence plate numbers, and was going call us in for damages he had recieved on his property the last 5 years. We explained to him we were both country boys, we've done our share of work on farms, plus I baled my own hay and never ride onto someone's property without permission, let alone destroy a farmers income. I'm not sure about other states, but Iowa has some very good riding parks for ATVs and motorcycles. I think the majority of riders respect landowners but it's just the few that give us a bad reputation. just like hunters, there are some that go anywhere they please
