I agree with Ernie completely. The vane pump on the early versions were marginal when nearly new. This is something that can be repaired but is expensive if the pump is worn which all I have ever seen were. Look at the pump and see if it has two round individual tubes coming out the bottom side. If so, it has not been updated and still has the vane type pump which is bad news. I do not like this tractor. It was Ford's first year offering of too many changes. Get an older or a newer tractor.
