I have a JD 336 square baler with the bale ejector attachment. The ejector does not have any ID plates, serial numbers, or decals on it. The JD web site indicates that the model 42 ejector is used on the 336 baler, but I've been told by others that it's a model 30 ejector and when I checked into getting manuals for it I found out that the 30 will fit this baler also. How can I positively identify the model series of this bale ejector? Is there some component that's physically different and can help me identify it?
