Well we figured the flat out today. Believe it or not, a straight pin (the kind you find in new shirts) had penetrated the tire and eaten a hole in the tube.

You know, if I had to have a flat, I would have rather it been a good ol' piece of rusty barbed wire or a nail . . . but a straight pin?
