Serial numbers 31,001 and higher are better. Serial numbers above 43,001 are updated even more and have a high pressure hydraulic system.
In good tune the gasser is fine. Add a pertonix points replacement modual, gap the plugs 50 thou,lean the carb some and run a 195F thermostat. Make certain neither the aircleaner mesh or muffler is plugged.
