I think what he's trying to say is that the breather/vent system has been changed on it. The older ones would somehow starve the #4 cylinder camshaft lobes for oil. Don't know exactly how the story goes, but that old vent system was causin' all the camshaft problems in the way it was designed. Think the newer vent drops in from the top of the valve cover? Allan

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
