At the college where I work we do a reaction time experiment. One of the variations is to have someone talk on a cell phone while measuring reaction times. They are alwaws slower whil talking on the phone (or doing anything else distracting). At 60+ miles per hour in traffic a few hundreds of a second can make a big difference. Of course when we're driving through farm country my wife always drives because I'm distracted looking about (or near an airport). Phil
