The small Fords are a pretty good tractor. The only thing you have to watch out for is the rear end is too light with the loader. Make sure you have the back tires loaded and the heaviest implement you own on the 3 point hitch. As with any loader transport with the bucket low and be extra careful on slopes. I've also had a back tire lift off the ground when using a box scraper in reverse and catching a rock or tree root. I've got a 1720 and it has been very dependable.
