Loader mounting on a Ford 650?

I bought a Ford 650 that included a front-end loader and rear counterweight. It is a very beefy unit, made of tubular steel, with a hydraulic pump that runs off the engine directly in the front. There is a reverse threaded rod, that, I assume, matches threads on the front of the engine. What I can't figure out is how to mount it. First of all, the two lowest giant left and right tubular struts end with a vertical plate, which looks like it is supposed to attach to the rear axle somehow. The fenders are gone from this tractor, so maybe there is some massive L-bracket affair that I am missing? The other question is how are you supposed to get something like this mounted on the tractor?? The struts need to go over the front axle, then the whole front of the loader needs to be raised to line up with the engine pto. Do people normally have hoists for this sort of thing? I had figured that I could "drive into" the loader, but it looks like far more effort will be involved. As soon as I can, I am going to post a photo of it so i can get some help identifying the mfr.
