Any chance we're talking about a Louisville 8000 highway tractor? If so, then crawl under the old bugger. There should be a plug with probably a 1" square head, most likely on the left hand side of the transmission, likely in the most difficult to access place on the entire truck. If you're talking farm tractor, the the year is way way off to be an 8000. I think they were into the second generation of TW's by '87..... Showcrop gave you the years. HTH. Rod
