I have a 2003 Ford F-350 with a 6.0 liter diesel engine. Since it has begun to turn cold, it will crank up okay, but when I begin to drive it while the engine is still cold, the engine wants to spit and sputter and not go pick up like it should. I live in Florida and it is not that cold. This is dangerous where I live and have to pull out on the highway into fast moving traffic. Once the temperature of the engine warms up, I have no trouble with it spitting and sputtering and it runs normal. I took it to the diesel shop about a week ago and they could not find anything wrong with it; they did not run it when it was cold. Does anyone know what is the matter and what the corrective action may be? Thanks
