Plug it in the right hand port. That way you will have float if you want it. There also may be a screw somewhere that you can turn to return the cylinder oil directly to the transmission case rather than to the input of the high pressure pump. The pressure of the charge pump can keep the single acting cylinder from closing if the load is light. On my early 4020, I have to shut down the engine to close a cylinder by hand because I haven't found that screw or turned it. Gerald J.
