Same thing happened to me two years ago. a piece of my tattered sweatshirt got caught by the PTO shsft on the auger. i knew right away what was happening. I grabbed ahold of the auger and held on tight. Luckily my clothes were on the worn out side. it puleed a tee shirt, two flannel shirts and a sweatshirt off of me. All I had left on me was a cuff from one of the flannel shirts. Luckily I escaped with only bruises and deep zipper burns from the sweatshirt that was ripped off of me. It took me nearly an hour to cut the wrapped clothing off of the pto shaft. They were wrapped around it like a rubber band. I have not forgotten this and has made me VERY aware of the danger around the machinery we use.
