OT - Calving

I did not think about it until I just finished posting a message on the Ford board, but you fellows seem to be well versed on most topics, so I thought what the heck... I had trouble calving today. One of them I had to call the vet to assist. He had to pull it with a calving jack as it was breach. Now the calf is having a hard time standing. I fed colestrum from a bottle tonight. I have only had one other experience with a calf not standing after being pulled and it ended badly. I was curious if anyone had any advise or words of wisdom that might help save this calf.
