Thought I'd seen it all

Over the years I've seen some many overloaded trailers, often being towed by an equally overloaded vehicle. This morning I think I saw one that has them all beat hands down. I was in a parking lot waiting to turn out onto Hwy29 when a fairly new Ford pickup came by towing a triple axel trailer. I couldn't tell wether the truck was an F150 or 250 but either way it wasn't a dually and judging by the small tires on the trailer it probably wasn't rated but for 12,000lbs or so. That said, the front bumper of the truck was so high off the road it looked like it was getting ready to take flight and the rear was only missing the ground by maybe 10 inches... Had to have been stearing with his brakes, or what was left of them after trying to stop the first time... Kinda reminded me of watching the old "taildragger" planes taking off. Anyway, on the trailer behind the truck was one of the larger extenda boom type rough terrain forklifts, sorta like the old Lulls. I wouldn't even venture to guess what the lift weighed, WAY TOO MUCH FOR THIS RIG IS ALL I KNOW, but he was merrily towing it along keeping up with traffic going nearly 50 MPH.....Never caught up with him after I finally got turned out and never saw a pileup so I'm guessing he turned down the ramp to the interstate....now that really makes my hair stand on end thinking about that rolling weight hazard moving 65 MPH plus and having to stop. I see the DMV guys all the time stopping garbage trucks not three miles from where this happened...where were they when they could have probably written a ticket big enough to pay their salary???
