I am trying to replace the bottom seal in the gear box. I am currently trying to remove the vertical drive shaft that the blade is attached to.
Which way do I need to press this shaft out. From the top (inside the gearbox to out) or from the bottom (bottom up through the gearbox). I am concerned that if I press it out the wrong way that I will break the gearbox housing.
Any help would be appreciated.
