I have a 6 litre in a 2000 chev. 3/4 ton. I don't know what issues the 6.0 has but mileage has to be one. I've got friends with older 5.7's that get 20 mpg or more. The best I seem to get is around 16 mpg. Diesels should get way better mpg. You would think with all the latest technology and fuel injection that they should be able to produce something that has decent economy. Especially with the price of fuel these days. Dave
