The Diesel and kerosene have much lower OCTANE rating and will knock because of detonation in higher compression engines. Adding the Diesel AND advancing the timing would be the very wrong thing to do. The old all-fuel engines had about 4 to 1 compression ratio. Flash point is the temperature at which enough vapor is created to burn and is unrelated to ignition timing. If any gasoline is present, then the flash point will be that of gasoline.
