A Husqvarna 55 rancher if you can find one. Huusqvarna has built them for years but stopped making them. Apparently they had a lot left over. I bought mine from a dealer specializing in chainsaws. They sell Stihl as well. Johnsored are supposed to be real good saws too. Husqvarna owns Poulan and they are the consumer line. They aren't as good as the commercial saws. Shindaiwa makes a top of the line saw but doesn't have as many dealers. I think it comes down to how much you want to spend and ease of service. Most saws are pretty good. Dave

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
