Do as Bob suggests. If it is fuel related you may keep it running a few extra seconds by pulling the choke when it is stopping, or you may keep it running with a spray of starter fluid into the intake. They each indicate a fuel flow problem. The fuel flow from the carb drain needs to be a continuous full flow for at least a minute. I mean a full flow. Alternatively, check how much drains from the carb after turning off the flow after leaving it on long enough to fill completely (engine off) and compare it with how much drains when the fault occurs (turn fuel tap off as the engine stops). I think you will find a very noticeable difference. Regards, RAB
