Eric, I had a similar problem with my 2424. Turned out to be a small chunk of something, maybe golden rod stem, that kept getting sucked into the outlet in the fuel tank. I think I figured it out by removing the sediment bowl and discovering that fuel would only drip from the stem on the bottom of the tank. Got it out somehow - can't remember now.
