friend's former s-i-l and his dad had 4840 john deere turning over 300 horses couldn't figure out why they couldn't keep engine cool and why they couldn't keep head gaskets on it .
they also borrowed his 20 foot disk once . when they brought it back they griped that it wasn't any good couldn't make it work .
they had changed all the setting and messed things up royal . he later found out they were trying to disk at 11 plus miles per hour .
owners manuel said do not exceed 7 miles per hour
