I've run a 6 footer on this 850 for years now, heavy grass, brush, briars etc. Heavy and or tall grass, while going up hill, yeah you will notice it bogging down, but there are things you can do, use lower gear, raise it up and make a 2nd pass, keep your blades sharp, it will handle a 6 footer without much trouble at all. Heavy grass, going up hill, you will notice the load on the engine and it will get hot when workin hard, so keep your radiator clean and coolant fresh. I use 1st gear when mowing heavy, thick or tall grasses, golden rod, and or briars, weeds and small brush, saplings, it provides plenty of powere and torque.
