Besides the hugs, how about all the rubbing cheeks and slobbery kissing, such as between the host and guests on talk shows! I guess you have to be a "Hollywood type" to get into all that! YUCK! Another thing is the "high-fiveing" and palming and handshaking the "sporto-types" do. My son ticked off a neighbor, and upon amends being made, the (sporto) neighbor thought I should "high-five" and go through various other handshaking rituals, to prove we were now "buds". I said, "What the #$%% would I want to shake hands with YOU for?" It was the KID he was having trouble with, and my suggestion was that he should call the cops on MY KID, as the kid deserved it. I was not the end of a game, and I'm not a "sporto", and I didn't need all the hand petting! (END OF RANT!)
