I think Allan is trying to do it the best possible way that will work to his satisfaction without breaking the bank. Nothing wrong with asking for advice. Hydraulics can be complicated. Maybe someone has done what he is trying to do. I think with good new hoses he could have used his old valve in the cab without fear of any leak. He's Decided to use a different valve and it isn't a straight forward swap. The single acting section throws a whole new loop into the eqaution. I'm sure a shop could set it all up for him like it came from the factory. For just $2000 or more. Ever look at a hydraulics diagram for an excavator? It's like a maze of valves and hoses and all kinds of other components. I like seeing Allans progress in his pictures. Judging by the way his equipment looks, I'd say he likes to do things the right way. Dave
