Muzzleloader and Archery just closed a week back. General gun season (dogs and still hunt) opened Sat. Nov 18. TX bow hunt = 0, Muzzleloader was spent driving my deskjob, Opening wx = 0 (bucks only). Got some nice does coming into my feed plot though. Nov 17-19 (doe days) got a youth hunt of which I am the HuntMaster. Anticipate 10 Hunter Ed graduate kids arriving Friday 2pm. Expect the kids to be very successful as the donated land is loaded with deer and hog. PS - Those Remington 710's are pretty accurate. 3/4" - 1.5" group at 100 yrds on sand bags. Did find out that one of the scopes had windage direction backwards, (2 boxes of ammo later).
