The only place I will use aluminum in on an aerial service drop, and then I use a lot of the anti-oxidizing paste on the connections. 2/0 Copper or 4/0 Aluminum for a 200 amp service unless you have a very long run then you may have to go up a size to compensate for voltage drop. Conduit size is based on % of fill and different types of wire have different wire thickness so after you pick the wire size, type, and you know the number wires you are going to use you select the conduit. Size from a table in the NEC code book.
