Yes, I have got burned on Ebay. I have also made some major purchases on Ebay that came out just fine, including my 2001 2500 Chevy pickup and my replacement mail route car which is a 95 Toyota Corolla wagon. The one it replaced developed an electrical problem at 473k miles. Just be sure to check any vehicle purchases thru Carfax, as should be done even if buying locally. Also, second chance offers, you will likely get scammed big time. I have had several second chance even when the seller says they don't do second chanches. I have learned, if the item doesn't show up in just a few days, don't let the seller string you along until too late for Square Trade or Paypal to help. It is worth the few cents extra for trackable, insured shipping. I bought a printer that arrived with glass broken, but since insured got the majority of my money back. For some reason UPS won't refund their shipping charge. Just my 2 cents worth.
