Dealership that I used to work for would never list their prices. They would always give their "buddies" the best price, even then they were ripping the guy off. Then if some "city" guy came in wanting to buy a tractor or something, they would really clean his clock on price. After I started farming I went there to price something and was willing to pay cash if I got a good price. The price they gave me I could tell they didn't even want me in the showroom, musta ripped off enough "city" guys to keep the lights on that day.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
