I believe what you said is what happened here.I have never heard so many shots over there at one time and I have been living here almost all my 40 years.Thought it to be ironic it happened on opening day of deer season.There is a guy over that direction that puts up nasty no hunting signs and had been known to pull a gun on someone.He doesen't hunt and owns some of the best hunting land around and lots of it,maybe it was him protesting???
