I must be dense. You are indeed implying that all oils are the same, whether you see it as such or not. I know damn well that there are only a few suppliers that produce this oil, and it's all hauled on the same trucks, and so on. However, I don't believe for a second that all the oil is the same. You might also notice that a lot of the oils that are sold today as tractor hydraulic oil have no specs whatsoever attached to them, and you've got to go digging and hound somebody to actually find out what you're buying. What has happened to me in the past is that I go looking for oil from another distributer, and give them the spec of what I need, and they cross it to their blend, and they tell me that it meets that spec. Most suppliers sell their fluid as being a UTF that will work, but it's not the same. At this point I want to see a detailed spec sheet first before I buy. The basic attitude of most of these suppliers is exactly the same as yours. It's all the same. It only costs them the sale. As far as me being dense... Yes, and I've got a hide like an elephant, and the memory too. I don't particulairly need advice on how to read or absorb information. Rod

In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
